Title of Project Kenya Water and Sanitation Program
Brief Description Provision of short term and long term technical assistance to the water sector reform process, particularly for WRMA, WSB, and WSTF. Tasks included:

    1. Development of policies and strategies including WRMA Strategic Plan, Catchment Management Strategies, Storage Development Strategy;
    2. Development of regulations covering water resource management and water services, Codes of Practices for Groundwater Development;
    3. Development of financing frameworks for community water supplies (CPC) and Water Resource Users Associations (WRUAs);
    4. Institutional strengthening on monitoring and evaluation, staffing, and specific technical issues (2006 to 2010)350,000 cubic meters of water (2010/2011)

Title of Project Operationalisation of the Water Act 2002 with respect to Water Resource Management
Brief Description Study formulated the blue print for the establishment of WRMA with emphasis on the institutional setup, strategic focus areas and M & E systems.(2005/2006)
